All right, so I let this place go.

I’m here to dust off the cobwebs and get back to writing. I took two intensive courses over the summer, a week or so after classes ended for me. Both semesters were pretty intense and I did well this time around in June, with an A and a B+. I took my first Writing Fiction workshop with a very talented professor and my Lord – did I write!

I learned a lot from this course, but mostly what I had to do to become a successful writer – write, write and keep on writing. I realize there’s so much discipline required to succeed in the craft. I hope to write a bit during the summer, now that my two classes are done.

What’s helping me is a website I’ve discovered via Facebook called Associated Content. This is a legitimate website where you get paid to write articles about various topics. Granted, it’s not a lot of money – so far I’ve made about $10 – but it certainly pushes you to write and teaches you about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and writing for Internet audiences. The weather has been nutty lately here too. Raining every day after bursts of sun. As long as there are no hurricanes, I’m fine.
